Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 64-50 to the Chapin Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-39 back in January.

Lexington's record now sits at 4-15. As for Chapin, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.

Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-47 loss against Dutch Fork on the 7th. As for Chapin, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-43 defeat against River Bluff on the 7th.
