Basketball Game Preview: Spring Grove Lions vs. Southland Rebels

The Spring Grove Lions will square off against the Southland Rebels at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Spring Grove has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Southland will arrive with seven straight wins.

Spring Grove might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-39 to La Crescent/La Crescent Montessori & Stem, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Southland was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Fillmore Central 77-38. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 29 points or more this season.
