Football Recap: Neuqua Valley Comes Up Short

Neuqua Valley lost against Lincoln-Way East back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Griffins 56-7. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Neuqua Valley and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Lincoln-Way East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Neuqua Valley will challenge rival Naperville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way East is set to square off against their familiar foe Lockport at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
