It was a Battle of the Birds when Fort Knox took on Larue County on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 8-0. Fort Knox haven't had much luck with Larue County recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fort Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Larue County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Fort Knox will be playing in front of their home fans against John Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Fort Knox their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Larue County, they will venture away from home to take on Meade County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
