Newberry has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 66-33 loss at the hands of the Gainesville Hurricanes. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Newberry's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Gainesville, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.
