Baseball Recap: Alamogordo Takes a Loss

Alamogordo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Centennial Hawks, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 last Monday.

Alamogordo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelan Wall, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases were Wall's first of the season.

Alamogordo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Centennial, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat Alamogordo by a score of 4-3 later that day.
