After a string of seven wins, Central Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Berean Academy Warriors. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Jaye McCurdy paced Central Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. McCurdy got some help from Audrey Arnold and her ten assists. Julia Glassburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Central Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Berean Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.
