After a string of six wins, Lamphere's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Warren Woods-Tower Titans by a score of 4-3. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 13-5.

Lamphere got a good showing from Charlie Belles, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Belles has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lamphere saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cormick Whalen, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lamphere's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Warren Woods-Tower, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19.
