Softball Game Preview: Durango Trailblazers vs. Cheyenne Desert Shields

Durango is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Cheyenne a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Durango Trailblazers will host the Cheyenne Desert Shields at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Durango came up short against Faith Lutheran on Monday, falling 19-1.

Leiah Biscocho was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cheyenne's offense. They lost 15-0 to Spring Valley on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Desert Shields' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Durango, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
