Basketball Recap: Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Comes Up Short

Warren-Alvarado-Oslo suffered their closest loss since January 10th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears by a score of 75-72. The Ponies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Warren-Alvarado-Oslo and nudges their season record down to 16-11. As for Clearbrook-Gonvick, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

Warren-Alvarado-Oslo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-62 win against Fosston on the 14th. As for Clearbrook-Gonvick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kelliher/Northome at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
