Soccer Recap: Mater Academy East Las Vegas Starts Season with Win Against Desert Pines

Mater Academy East Las Vegas gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Desert Pines Jaguars 2-1.

Jonathan Diaz and Ricardo Molina scored both of Mater Academy East Las Vegas' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Having lost for the first time this season, Desert Pines fell to 2-1.
