Baseball Game Preview: Apex Friendship Patriots vs. Green Hope Falcons

For the second straight game, Apex Friendship will face off against Green Hope. Apex Friendship will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Apex Friendship has three straight victories, Green Hope has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Apex Friendship's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Green Hope by a score of 4-0.

Green Hope's batters probably weren't too happy with Luke Hemric, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 18 Ks (he gave up a single walk). Furthermore, Hemric didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Drew Ciaccio, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Braden Bloom, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Green Hope's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Apex Friendship, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
