It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Green River had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Escalante Moquis with a sharp 64-38 win. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 23 points or more this season.

Green River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rolando Anguiano led the charge by shooting 60% from the field to rack up 19 points in addition to six boards and four blocks. Thanks to that strong game, Anguiano now owns an excellent 40.2% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Hernandez, who posted 13 points along with five assists and five steals.

Green River is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points over those games. Escalante's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.

Green River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-57 loss against Wendover on the 28th. Escalante does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
