Football Recap: Douglas Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Douglas hadn't done well against Pueblo recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs managed a 20-14 victory over the Warriors. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 41-20 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Douglas can attribute much of their success to Ivan Higuera, who rushed for 105 yards and three scores, and also threw for 115 yards on 12 of 23 attempts. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Higuera a new career-high.
