After losing to Gibson County the last time they met, Milan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs walked away with a 5-1 win over the Pioneers on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Mia Pearson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Hailey Williamson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Maycee Masters was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Milan's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Gibson County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1.

Milan has already played their next match (against Ripley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gibson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
