Softball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton lost against Liberty Christian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Dayton came up short against Liberty Christian, falling 15-7.

Cindi H was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn L, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Liberty Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Dayton will host Colton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Dayton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Liberty Christian, they have already played their next match, a 6-3 victory against Riverside on the 22nd.
