Volleyball Recap: Norman North Takes a Loss

Norman North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount St. Mary Rockets. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Mount St. Mary found their leader in sophomore Cheyenne Denwalt, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Denwalt.

Norman North's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mount St. Mary, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Norman North will challenge Muskogee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount St. Mary, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Community Christian on the 15th.
