Football Recap: Neumann Piles Up the Points Against Coral Springs Charter

Neumann got themselves on the board against Coral Springs Charter on Friday, but Coral Springs Charter never followed suit. They really took it to the Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-0 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Celtics had established a 35-point advantage.

Neumann's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Frontino led the charge by throwing for 213 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 70 yards on only six carries. Those 70 rushing yards gave Frontino a new career-high. Neumann's leading receiver Jayden Petit was Frontino's top target yet again, picking up 162 receiving yards and four scores.

Neumann's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Coral Springs Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Neumann didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-2 win against Oasis on the 12th. After each having a week off, Coral Springs Charter and Pompano Beach will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
