Volleyball Recap: Pisgah Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pisgah can now relate to. They came up short against the Mount Pleasant Tigers on Monday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Bears couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Pisgah ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Pisgah's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6. As for Mount Pleasant, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

As of now, neither Pisgah nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
