Basketball Recap: Make It 13 in a Row for Arts & Tech

Arts & Tech put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Chandler Park Academy Eagles 73-56. Given Arts & Tech's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Chandler Park Academy is ranked 345th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arts & Tech pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Chandler Park Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Arts & Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 92-76 win against Voyageur Academy on the 8th. As for Chandler Park Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 66-17 victory against Hope Christian Academy on the 7th.
