Soccer Recap: Walnut Grove Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Madison County

There's no place like home for Walnut Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison County Red Raiders a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Madison County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walnut Grove will host Eastside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Winder-Barrow at 5:30 p.m.
