Basketball Recap: Lennard Takes a Loss

Lennard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 47-31 fall against the Hillsborough Terriers. If the Longhorns were looking for revenge after losing 62-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jaylesia James went supernova for Hillsborough, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Anaja Griffin was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Lennard's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Hillsborough, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lennard will take on King at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsborough, they will face off against Gaither at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
