Volleyball Game Preview: Hamilton Lions vs. Baldwyn Bearcats

The Hamilton Lions will square off against the Baldwyn Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton will be strutting in after a victory while Baldwyn will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Hamilton beat New Site 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Baldwyn challenged Walnut on Tuesday. The Bearcats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Bearcats couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-12, 25-11.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Baldwyn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Hamilton might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Baldwyn in their previous meeting on Friday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bearcats' Aubrei Weaver, who had six digs and two aces.
