Volleyball Recap: Chesterton Wins Going Away Against Munster

Chesterton won the last time they faced Munster and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Trojans yet this season.

Chesterton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Munster between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Luca Bombacino paced Chesterton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bombacino got some help from Abigail Parrish and her 19 assists. Delaney Barrett controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Chesterton pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Munster, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Chesterton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Penn on the 21st. As for Munster, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against La Porte on the 21st.
