Basketball Recap: Linville Hill Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Linville Hill had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 75-45 victory over Harrisburg Christian. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Linville Hill had a senior duo take command as Derian Peterseim went 6 for 8 on his way to 16 points and Jerome Stoltzfus went 7 of 10 en route to 17 points. Thanks to that strong game, Peterseim now owns an excellent 40.4% three-point shooting accuracy. Drew Tibbins was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Linville Hill's win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Harrisburg Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Linville Hill will welcome High Point Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. High Point Baptist Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Linville Hill likes a good challenge. Harrisburg Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
