Volleyball Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Comes Up Short

Homewood-Flossmoor entered their game against Bolingbrook on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Raiders. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

While Homewood-Flossmoor had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Bolingbrook got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Kaduthodil out in front who had 27 assists and six digs. Kaduthodil has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

Homewood-Flossmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Bolingbrook, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

Homewood-Flossmoor has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Lincoln-Way East on the 13th. As for Bolingbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Oswego on the 13th.
