NorthPoint Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jayson Simmons, who scored 12 points.
Providence Classical's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xan Rahalawicz , who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Rahalawicz scored a full 32.4% of Providence Classical's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Bryson Lahr, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
NorthPoint Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Providence Classical, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
