Football Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakewood extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 56-7 loss at the hands of the Squalicum Storm. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Malik Armstead threw for 52 yards on seven of 21 attempts.

As for Squalicum, the win got them back to even at 2-2. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Ray Hoffmann went supernova, throwing for 271 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground.
