Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jayce Lagerstrom and Nathan Zettle Lead West Valley to Victory + How To Watch

West Valley won the last time they faced Rogers and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 73-48 margin over the Pirates. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 13th (when they won 69-40).

Leading West Valley to victory were Nathan Zettle and Jayce Lagerstrom. Zettle went 7-for-10 to rack up 19 points and six assists, while Lagerstrom shot 56% from the field en route to 20 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Willard, who posted 13 points.

The victory was the third in a row for West Valley, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 68.7 points this season. As for Rogers, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
