Colorado Academy picks up sixth straight win on the road

The Colorado Academy Mustangs won against the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors last Saturday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Everything went Colorado Academy's way against Eagle Ridge Academy as Colorado Academy made off with a 59-35 win. Winning may never get old, but Colorado Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Leading Colorado Academy to victory were Clyde Love and Simeon Woldeyohannes. Love scored 14 points, while Woldeyohannes scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Woldeyohannes hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Jason Bratis, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Colorado Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Colorado Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kent Denver at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in Kent Denver's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge DSST: Cedar at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
