Basketball Recap: Uvalde Takes a Loss

Uvalde's tournament run continued when they took on Randolph on Friday. The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) took a 60-45 bruising from the Randolph Ro-Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1023rd, while the Ro-Hawks are ranked 335th).

Uvalde's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Uvalde has already played their next contest, a 47-43 defeat against Poth on the 14th. As for Randolph, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-43 win against John F. Kennedy on the 14th.
