Baseball Recap: Elkhorn Antlers vs. Bellevue East Chieftains
Elkhorn took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They blew past the Bellevue East Chieftains 11-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Antlers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Beau Twohig looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

On the hitting side, Camden Carle was a standout: he scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elliot Beister, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base.
Elkhorn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellevue East only posted an OBP of .375.
