Basketball Game Preview: Sutter Huskies vs. El Camino Eagles

The Sutter Huskies will venture away from home to face off against the El Camino Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sutter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Tuesday, Sutter lost to Casa Roble on the road by a 75-56 margin. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Rams are ranked 241st).

Meanwhile, El Camino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 47-36 to Natomas.

Sutter's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-10. As for El Camino, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Sutter strolled past El Camino in their previous meeting on January 7th by a score of 73-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sutter since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
