Basketball Recap: Justin Bertram's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Wabash Valley Homeschool over Pleasant View Christian

Wabash Valley HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Pleasant View Christian on Saturday. The Wabash Valley HomeSchool Warriors fell 40-33 to the Pleasant View Christian Bulldogs.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Bertram, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. Jacob Layton was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Pleasant View Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Wagler, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Graber, who had eight points and five rebounds.

Wabash Valley HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Pleasant View Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Wabash Valley HomeSchool will face off against Living Water Homeschool at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Wabash Valley HomeSchool is facing Living Water Homeschool at the right time seeing as Living Water Homeschool is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Pleasant View Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-26 win against Heartland Christian on the 18th.
