Basketball Recap: Arness Lawson Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

There's no place like home for Pickerington North, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 54-49 W over the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pickerington North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arness Lawson, who went 8 of 19 en route to 25 points along with eight boards and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Lawson has scored at least a third of Pickerington North's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Favor McFadden, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
