Volleyball Recap: Thornton Comes Up Short

Thornton lost against Crete-Monee back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9.

Thornton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Crete-Monee, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thornton is set to face off against their familiar foe Bloom at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crete-Monee will take on rival Rich Township at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
