Volleyball Game Preview: New Covenant Academy Warriors vs. Aurora Houn Dawgs

The New Covenant Academy Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Aurora Houn Dawgs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

New Covenant Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Strafford just ended the team's ten-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Indians.

Meanwhile, Aurora also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Girard by a score of 2-0.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for New Covenant Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-2-2.

New Covenant Academy took their victory against Aurora when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
