Volleyball Recap: Holy Cross Wins Going Away Against Crosby

Holy Cross won the last time they faced Crosby and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crusaders blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-12.

Holy Cross had a senior duo take command as Reese McGarrity had three aces and one block and Alexa Ruggia had eight digs and two aces. McGarrity is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. Amelia Mowad also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Holy Cross was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Crosby, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.
