Preview: Johnson County Sports Association Lions vs. Christian Home Educators Knights
The Johnson County Sports Association Lions will square off against the Christian Home Educators Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Johnson County Sports Association is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Johnson County Sports Association was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Stephenville FAITH.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Gage Bradley, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks. He hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Green, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Christian Home Educators was beaten by East Texas Homeschool Sports 72-43 on Tuesday. Christian Home Educators has struggled against East Texas Homeschool Sports recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Like Johnson County Sports Association, Christian Home Educators lost despite seeing results from several players. Caleb Oglesby led the charge by scoring 11 points. Caleb Koster was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Johnson County Sports Association's record is now 3-15. Christian Home Educators' record now sits at 16-15.
