Weddington not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 17-0). They put the hurt on the Andrew Jackson Volunteers with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won nine matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Weddington and bumps their season record up to 16-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Andrew Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Weddington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrew Jackson, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for the Volunteers and 18 for the Knights.
