Softball Recap: La Cueva Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

La Cueva waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Eldorado Eagles as they made off with an 18-8 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 back in March.

La Cueva got a massive performance out of Hailey Silva, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those six RBI gave Silva a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Hoggan, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: La Cueva lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eldorado didn't launched any.

La Cueva's record is now 10-7. As for Eldorado, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

La Cueva will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
