Niceville got themselves on the board against Navarre on Monday, but Navarre never followed suit. They blew past the Raiders 8-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Chloe Bailey made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Anabelle Shackelford was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Briana Noles, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Niceville's record is now 15-6. As for Navarre, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-7 record.

Looking ahead, Niceville will be playing in front of their home fans against West Florida at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Navarre, they will take on Gulf Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
