On Friday, Xavier College Prep faced Desert Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Xavier College Prep Gators snuck past the Desert Vista Thunder with a 60-56 win. The victory was nothing new for the Gators as they're now sitting on four straight.

Xavier College Prep's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Desert Vista, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.
