St. Petersburg has gone a perfect 5-0 against Indian Rocks Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Green Devils will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. St. Petersburg is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

If Boca Ciega wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Petersburg, they should've done a better job of containing Annika Xenakis. The Green Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates on Thursday with plenty of help from Xenakis, who had eight aces and seven digs. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 36 times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Petersburg took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Indian Rocks Christian came up short against Northside Christian on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Indian Rocks Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for St. Petersburg, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

St. Petersburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Indian Rocks Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, winning 2-0. Will the Green Devils repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
