Basketball Recap: Calvary Academy Comes Up Short

Calvary Academy was the 50-48 winner over Texoma Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 55-37 bruising from the Eagles on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Texoma Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Calvary Academy and Texoma Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Lions see the court they'll take on Howe at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Texoma Christian, their break will end when they face Dodd City on December 9.
