Northridge played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against the Utica Redskins by a score of 7-2. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered an 11-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Noah Mason, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kash Reeves, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Northridge's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Utica, their record is now 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will take on Worthington Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.23 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Utica, they will face off against Johnstown-Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
