Softball Recap: Greenleaf Friends Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Greenleaf Friends Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against the Notus Pirates, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly ten runs.

Sylvia Ovalle was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Greenleaf Friends Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Notus, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Greenleaf Friends Academy and Notus will both be playing Glenns Ferry the next time they take the field. Notus will host Glenns Ferry at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st, while Greenleaf Friends Academy will host them at 4:30 p.m. on April 2nd.
