Liam Goeder Game Report: vs Fremont

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Liam Goeder: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made two total tackles, but sadly Toledo Christian still had to take a 40-7 loss at the hands of Fremont. We certainly expect to see more performances from Goeder considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Coming up, Goeder and Toledo Christian will venture away from home to challenge Cory-Rawson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Goeder's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' three-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Goeder and the Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
