Basketball Game Preview: Harlem Bulldogs vs. Cross Creek Razorbacks

Harlem is 0-10 against Cross Creek since February of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Harlem Bulldogs will host the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Harlem is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since January 4th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lincoln County 67-64.

Harlem found their leader in sophomore Gabe Williams, who went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points and three steals. That's the most steals Williams has posted since back in November of 2024. Horatio Shaffer III was another key player, going 9 for 13 on his way to 18 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Cross Creek came tearing into Thursday's game with 18 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Braves 49-47.

Cross Creek's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Harlem, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
