Basketball Recap: Dale Finds Playoff Glory Versus Merritt

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dale had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 66-33 victory over the Merritt Oilers. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 23 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the ninth in a row for Dale, bringing their record for this year to 30-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Merritt, they moved to 23-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Dale nor Merritt have any future games scheduled.
